You
The
most powerful tool you shall ever own and operate is your body. It is the vessel
in which our mind travels in, so to expect getting anywhere special in life
requires building and maintaining a suitable ship. Take care of yourself, be
mindful of what goes in, and be sure that it is safe from others.
For
the greatest fear of the soul is to ever feel insignificant or
unimpressionable, and what is even more frightening to think about is that this
is becoming a norm in society. With the world now compacted into our
phones, laptops t.v.’s and just about everywhere else, it is not hard to
succumb to the great talents of humans, and become just another of the 7
billion others.
Break
that thought, and think of your best friend, what they mean to you, and what
you mean to them. Think of the teacher who enjoys your passion and effort, the
joy and excitement that he or she was looking for when choosing that career.
Think of a childhood memory that helps define you, and understand that you make
a difference, you put a smile on a face, a bigger beat for a heart, and a
shoulder to be there. We all need to maintain the positive power that we as
individuals are amazingly powerful.
What
can you do, for yourself and others?
- Call up that long time friend of yours
- Make a donation to charity this holiday season
- Make the effort to thank the people around you
- Write your MP about a concern you have (http://www.parl.gc.ca/MembersOfParliament/MainMPsCompleteList.aspx)
- Laugh!
